Ken Reed

Ken Reed comes to Gallery 1001 by way of Phoenix, Arizona. A tile-setter by trade, Ken's artistry shines through in many of his projects including a Mondrian inspired bathroom project he did for a customer.  This talent and artistry is most evident in Ken's linoleum block prints, some of which are available at Gallery 1001.  Ken attended high school in Phoenix with 1001's own Max Kidwell (aka Bubba VonMax), who invited Ken to come to Winfield's annual Art In the Park Art Festival. In fact, Ken designed, carved. and printed a limited edition print of "Kansas Day," in honor of Kansas' Sesquicentennial celebration. One of these prints sits proudly in Kansas Governor Laura Kelly's office at the Statehouse in Topeka.

As a consignment artist with Gallery 1001, Ken's beautiful creations are proudly on display and available for purchase at Gallery 1001
